  • Your obligation to provide and maintain accurate contact details
  • Allow Nominet to keep your contact details and publish the WHOIS
  • Not to use your domain in an unlawful manner
  • Allow Nominet to administer your domain (transfer to another tag) if we should fail

How to transfer in your existing domains

It’s easy, and usually free, to take advantage of our competitive renewal charges and domain management. Simply ask your existing registrar to change the Nominet tag to ‘BIZZ’. That’s all there is to it. Your existing tag holder is obliged to do that speedily. It should not matter whether you have paid their fees or not.

If there is any problem you can make a complaint to Nominet. You can also instruct Nominet to transfer the tag to ‘BIZZ’ although they make a nominal charge of £10+vat per transaction (not per domain).

And if I want to transfer out?

No problem – phone or email us with your domain name(s) and the new tag . We will action it immediately – no question, no charge.

Abuse of .UK domains

Please report any suspected non-authorised use of domains on our BIZZ tag or services managed by us to:

A note on the events of 2021

In 2021 the majority of the Nominet membership sought to reform Nominet to better serve .uk domain owners and the wider public.
